
Electric cars are a major trend for the automotive industry, and Hyundai introduced a new IONIQ series of battery-powered electric vehicle to realize the goal of real zero emission. High cost performance is the main selling point of IONIQ. For the design concept we used a simple and decent style, creating a natural landscape by using the nature environment to emphasize that clean is not only the advantage of electric cars, but also to stress the feature of high cost performance. Apart from the print advertisement, we also held “IONIQ Electric Test Drive Day” in HK Science Park. This was quite different from the traditional automotive exhibition, and it was more like a carnival. Adults could experience the dynamics and accelerations of IONIQ, and children could lay in the inflatable sofa, enjoying their special drinks and dessert on the grassy slopes. This activity created a joyful discharge environment for families. Besides, it improved the “Feel Good Factor” for the whole brand, highly boosting the people flow for the test drive.
